WHAT IS FINDER OPTA?

OPTA is the name of a completely new range of INDUSTRIAL SMART RELAYS or PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC RELAYS, perfect for easily creating intelligent logic to industrial, OEM or building automation projects.

These devices are freely programmable with both traditional IEC61131-3 languages (Ladder, FBD, etc.) and the open source Arduino IDE language.

Made in ITALY by Finder, they combine Finder's industrial experience with Arduino's technological innovation, bringing you a product that is truly unique in the market.

THE ADVANTAGES
OF FINDER OPTA

  • POWERFUL

The powerful dual-core Cortex® M7+M4 chip enables a truly impressive number of real-time computing operations. Ideal for predictive maintenance applications.

  • CONNECTED

Thanks to the integrated RJ45, USB (type C), RS485 and WiFi/BLE ports.

  • SECURE

Secure, thanks to the presence of a built-in high-level cryptochip that enables security in data transfer from hardware to the cloud.

  • Open source

Programming is made possible by the integration of the open-source Arduino Pro OPEN SOURCE IDE platform, as well as an optional suite of traditional languages such as Ladder and FBD.

  • SIMPLE

Designed to simplify the integration of electrical devices with the physical world, offering you a world of possibilities for your projects.

UNIQUE ON THE MARKET

Finder OPTA is unique on the market because of its ultra-secure connectivity at the hardware level, its ability to perform OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware updates, its programming versatility (via open source software or standard PLC languages), and its connectivity options.

Expansion modules

OPTA expansion modules multiply the application possibilities of the programmable logic relay for unprecedented versatility of use. Expansion modules are designed with the aim of adding inputs and/or outputs to different automation projects-with a maximum limit of five modules available for all OPTA versions (Lite, Plus, Advanced)-by increasing inputs (for up to 80 inputs in the digital version and 30 inputs for the analog version*) and outputs (up to 40 outputs for the digital version and 30 for the analog version). On each device there is an auxiliary port (AUX) to connect the expansion modules to the OPTA.

Expansions available for greater flexibility of use

The OPTA range includes two expansion modules in digital version and one expansion module in analog version.

OPTA POWER SUPPLY

The Type 78.12....2482 power supply allows OPTA to function even when heavy loads are turned on, preventing interrupted operation while also protecting it from electrical supply fluctuations. The user can ensure a reliable and long-lasting product when installing the Type 78.12….2482.

These features have enabled the power supply to obtain ENEC and UL approvals, important recognitions of compliance with safety and quality standards.
